Team Melissa raises $10,000 for the Hoyt Foundation!

MassVeteran.com joined with Melissa Lonergan, a Soldier in the US Army Reserves and consistent participant in Easterseals Massachusetts’ Military & Veteran peer activities, to raise $10,000 in 100 days in support of the Hoyt Foundation as part of her journey to the 125th Boston Marathon.

Fundraising Goal Met!

More than 100 individuals made donations ranging from $4 and $500.  When combined, Team Melissa raised over $11,000!  It was truly a team effort.  Watch the special thank you video below!

Marathon Goal Met

As a first time runner, Melissa set a goal of completing the Boston Marathon in under six hours.  She completed the 125th Boston Marathon in 5:43:56.
